Despite some early teething problems, the new Customs and Excise website is now up and running. The new design should provide easier access to information and transaction services.
The new website is part of Custom’s programme to improve and enhance online services. Businesses can now complete an improved online VAT return and request changes to basic business details. The site’s information services allow the creation of personalised pages with email alerts, document tracking and clipboard features. Further improvements will continue to be added to the site.
